Beer Pairings With Brewhouse Legends

June 21, 2019

Brewhouse Legends snack nut mixes are inspired by and perfectly paired with craft beer. You would be doing these delicious mixes a disservice by not drinking beer while eating them. Since there are so many types of brews out there (which we’re very thankful for), we asked some of our craft beer expert friends to come up with their favorite pairing options for you to try. Keep in mind that this list isn’t exhaustive – there are still plenty more pairing opportunities we still have to discover.

Michelada

Our Michelada mix is primarily a tangy tomato flavor blended with rice crackers, corn nuts, hot Cajun sticks, peanuts, and praline pepitas. Some say it’s the spiciest mix we have. This mix is inspired by the Mexican cerveza preparade and captures the spicy and tangy essence of the popular beverage. Here are some beers that perfectly complement this unique blend:

Hops & Pepper

Hops & Pepper is our most loved mix, likely due to its subtle but ever-present hops flavor blended with peanuts, rice crackers, pretzels, and sesame sticks. This mix perfectly captures the basis of all great beers, combining the essence of barley and hops with peppery seasoning for added complexity. It’s easy to enjoy and pairs well with many types of beer, such as:

Hoppin’ Chili

Hoppin’ Chili is packed full of tasty chili pepper seasoning on peanuts, honey sesame chips, chickpeas, and corn nuts. The honey sesame chips provide that pinch of sweetness that balance spicy and sweet perfectly. You’re going to want something refreshing with this one:
