Six Pack Summer

June 19, 2020

Looking to get a ripped six pack that you can flaunt around the beach this summer?  You’re in luck because we’ve got the perfect workout routine for you!  Start off by attempting to do a plank.  Once you start feeling your abdomen burning and every muscle in your body begins to vibrate uncontrollably, stop immediately.  Grab your wallet and proceed directly to the liquor store…Wait.  You didn’t actually think we were talking about getting one of those six packs, did you?

Forget about those “Instant Beach Bod Ab Workouts”.  Summer is all about warm days and cool nights.  Barbequing in the backyard with the laughter of a handful of friends filling the air.  Relaxing on the beach while a salty ocean breeze gently tussles your hair.  Enjoying conversations around a bonfire as lightning bugs flutter above without a care.  And most importantly, munching on some of Beer’s Best Friend—Brewhouse Legends—while sampling summer beer flights.

Bell's

If you’re looking for a list of must have beers to celebrate with this summer, check out our Six Pack Summer Suggestions below:

Anyone form the Great Lakes region is probably familiar with this summer beer by Bell’s and already has plans to keep their fridge well-stocked with it all summer long.  This American wheat ale has just the right amount of a fruity flavored taste and a beautiful golden yellow color reminiscent of the summer sun.

Hacker-Pschorr Weissbier

Hacker

This German brewed beer has been around for over 600 years!  We think the best way to enjoy a Hacker-Pschorr Weissbier is to drop a lemon wedge on top, kick your feet up, and then you’re good to go for the perfect summer outing.

New Glarus Spotted Cow

Allagash River Trip

If you’ve ever been to Wisconsin, then we’re pretty sure you’ve seen this iconic New Glarus beer.  The easiest way for us to describe the taste of Spotted Cow is: delicious!  Only sold in Wisconsin, be sure to stock up on some Spotted Cow next time you’re there so you’re prepared for every summer get together this year.

Allagash River Trip

New Belgium

The hopping technique used for the Belgian styled River Trip brings out a grapefruit and melon aroma that helps make this a great tasting addition to your summer cooler.  Also, the relatively low ABV levels mean you don’t need to worry as much about having just one more (but please still drink responsibly).

New Belgium Citradelic Tangerine IPA

Sam Adams

This beer by New Belgium packs a balance of hops and fruity flavors provided by tangerine peels.  The citrus scents wafting from the beer and the orange color shimmering in the sun through the glass will certainly help establish a summer vibe while sipping on the Citradelic Tangerine IPA.

Sam Adams Summer Ale

 Sam Adams

Brewed with three different types of citrus peels, you can definitely taste that this Sam Adams is made for the summer.  We’re even daydreaming right now about sitting out in the sun and enjoying a cold, refreshing bottle of the Summer Ale.

Please note, while we love craft beer there are some bigger named non-craft beers listed above because we recognize a good beer when we taste one.  Also, notice that none of the trendy hard seltzers are featured on this list because those don’t count as real beer.

*Brewhouse Legends Snack Nut Mixes pair great with all beers listed above as a last minute Father’s Day gift!
